This defied everything I thought I knew about early seventies rock. I thought that Zeppelin, Purple and Sabbath led the charge but these guys matched them for ability, style and creativity. They were obviously flying under the radar (pardon the pun) because by the time MOONTAN grabbed everyone's attention, songs like this (and others) had become staples in the Netherlands. It makes you wonder who THEIR influences must have been. Still sounds amazing 50 years on. If they had drones then, even the video would have worked.

Just curious Anyone else hear the similarities in "Melody" guitar .and drum rhythm ( played slower here) & Black Sabbath"s Heaven & Hell. Guitar and Drum Rhythm (played faster in this) around 4:28. It is really similar if not same Melody ?
